Foothills Animal Hospital is classified as an essential service and as such is open to our clients during this time.
In order to minimize the amount of traffic in our lobby and to practice social distancing we have locked the front doors.
NEW** We are now booking all patients for all types of services and treatments.
Please note as we are still understaffed and gradually bringing our team back, there will be longer than usual wait times for appointments. Please call our front desk to discuss booking times.
If you are unsure if your pet needs to be seen please do not hesitate to contact the client service team.

Food, Supplement and Medications:
NEW** During this time we are offering FREE shipping to your home on all orders over $50.
Our distributors have placed restrictions on quantities of food/treats/supplements that our practice can order. These same restrictions don’t apply as strictly to clients ordering through the online store so we strongly suggest you place your order through the store as opposed to having us order in food for you.
We will restrict client’s orders through our practice if it exceeds our maximum allotment.
At this time we are told that our distributors have 8 weeks of foods/supplements in stock so there is no need to stockpile supplies. We do encourage our clients to have enough supplies at home to last through a 2 weeks quarantine should that become the case for you.

In order to minimize the amount of traffic in our lobby and to practice social distancing, we have locked the front doors. We will be requiring clients to call us at 403-938-3791 to pre-pay for items ordered through the hospital. Once paid, a team member will bring your items to the door or to your vehicle for pick up.
To practice social distancing we are seeing our patients without their pet parents present. We require clients to call us at 403-938-3791 from their car to check in for all appointments. From there, our client care team will gather all the information they need. We will have one of our team members come to escort your pet to their appointment. The doctor will contact you via phone to discuss findings and gather any additional information. Video conferencing is available if requested.
We have taken additional measures to ensure that our veterinary hospital is cleaned and sanitized more frequently. We are operating with the minimum amount of staff we can while still providing top notch veterinary care for our patients. We ask any staff who are feeling unwell to stay home and of course we are all practicing social isolation personally.
